The mission of the Enhanced Loan Counseling Task Force is to support students by providing individualized counseling & alternative resources to reduce loan debt with focused attention on the student’s future. At this time, Enhanced Loan Counseling is being offered to undergraduate students enrolled at the Homewood campus.

Objectives

  • Be done in a timeline that allows the student, if needed to decrease their borrowing amount.
  • Include the cumulative debt for the borrower to date.
  • Reduce the number of students left with burdensome student debt. 
  • Help students make smart decisions about financing post-secondary education.
