Pam is the proud daughter of an immigrant and grateful first-generation college student; she would not have been able to succeed without the generous financial aid she received from her alma maters (BA in Theatre from The College of William & Mary; MA in Higher Ed. Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University) and the love, faith and support of her family, friends and mentors. She jokes that she’s been “in school” continuously since age 5, beginning as a college administrator immediately after graduation as a receptionist for the W&M admissions office. Her life has always been measured in semesters, and the alternating joys of welcoming newly admitted students to campus and celebrating her students’ graduations.

In her 25 year career, Pam has a broad range of experience in admissions, financial aid, academic advising, student activities, student leadership development, multicultural advising, etc., for various institutions, ranging from 2-year community colleges and 4-year state universities to the Ivy League. She lives with her family in Essex County, New Jersey and loves serving her caseload of Hopkins advisees (remotely), helping make their college dreams come true.
