Coming from the Sunshine State, Naudia began her career in higher education in 2016, starting as a peer adviser for the Undergraduate Admissions office at the University of Central Florida. Naudia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, with a minor in Linguistics as well as her TEFL Certification at the University of Central Florida. Throughout the span of her career, Naudia has acquainted herself with various sectors of higher education, transitioning from the faculty side, to the administrative side of higher education. Prior to Hopkins, Naudia worked at Valencia College of Orlando, Florida, where she wore many hats. One being an adjunct ESL professor, and later transitioning to student-facing advising at a one-stop. In this role she assisted all current, prospective, and alumni students with college navigation in every aspect from Admissions and Financial Aid, to Registrar and Student Accounts, even Graduation!
A true native Floridian, Naudia enjoys shelling, freediving, and all things Disney. She is most passionate about mentoring students to reach their highest potential.
Her advice to students: “It’s okay if you don’t understand; you’re here to increase your capacity of understanding through building your intellect. Give yourself grace as your mind is being shaped by a new experience.”
