Submit Health Insurance Waiver

All students are automatically enrolled in the university-sponsored health insurance plan and are charged the premium to their student account. All students must complete a waiver each academic year.

To waive the university-sponsored plan, please visit SIS Self-Service > Personal Info > Insurance Benefits. The waiver process is open from July 1 through September 15.

Apply for HopOpps Scholarships

We invite you to complete a HopOpps scholarship profile to apply for the honor of being matched with a donor-funded scholarship at Johns Hopkins by September 30.

These prestigious donor-funded scholarships help fulfill the institutional aid you’ve already been awarded—they do not represent new or additional funding—but they do offer an opportunity to jumpstart your Hopkins network. Being matched with one is a meaningful recognition of your achievements, and sharing your story can lead to new and often lasting connections and continued support.
