My Advice to Students: Take school seriously, but not too seriously. Getting into a university like JHU is a huge achievement, and you absolutely want to get as much as you can out of the experience, but that means more than just getting the best grades you can. Make time for day trips into D.C., find friends who are completely different from you, sign up for a class that has nothing to do with your major, and take a walk over to Hampden to get some weird ice cream at The Charmery! The things that happen outside the classroom during college matter just as much as those that happen in it.
